I'm not yet a Puppet user, so I'm not fully aware of its capabilities. I'm looking for something to handle VMware ESXi host configuration similar to how their host profiles work. Will Puppet fit the bill? Would the hypervisor need an agent installed (not sure if this is possible)?
I appreciate any feedback or suggestions.
